Coming from the pits of the third world, each track on this EP offers a mix of the no-bullshit, old school thrash sound mixed with influences across the extreme metal board. Taking cues from the 80s Bay Area scene, Teutonic Thrash metal titans, South American extreme metal sounds, and old school death metal giants; this EP screams metal in its most ruthless, aggressive, and no-holds-barred approach.

Lyrically, the EP covers a lot of ground. From ongoing sociopolitical issues to historical events, horror themes to fictional characters; there are many ideas that can be found in the music. Overall, the tone of the EP is confrontational and delivers cathartic thrash. Prepare for intense old school riffing at breakneck speed!

Formed in 2021, Splinter is a thrash metal trio based out of India. We
released two singles in 2023, and played some killer showsa cross the Indian metal circuit garnering a solid fan base. The debut single ‘Kill The Parasite’ was also featured by media houses in India and Asia
such as Rolling Stone India, UniteAsia, Rock Street Journal, etc.
